Since this is my first post here so I'd like to start things off with an extremely short intro.
Hi, I am a young Canadian Compsci student in his early 20s who probably gets fed up with technology too easily for his choice in profession.

Anyways, I recently bought a cheap low spec laptop that was pre-installed with Windows 10 from Canada Computers(its their own brand). I bought it for the sole sake of playing around with it after installing lubuntu but unfortunately my plans were crushed right away. The computer only allows you to boot from Windows Boot Manager and UEFI. There is no legacy boot option or secure boot options in the boot settings. I tried various things with my shamefully limited knowledge of computers but I couldn't get it to work. At this point in time, I am just about ready to give up but I thought I'd try asking on here once first. I would be grateful for any advice or help you can provide.

PS: Sorry if this is in the wrong section, Idk where I should post a question like this.

Thank you for moving it to the correct, place.
The only two Boot devices/options available are Windows Boot Manager and UEFI. There was no other option available.
