Asus Zenbook UX305 black screen but shows laptop is on via LED illumination

My laptop as mentioned in the title has a black screen but the tiny LED lights show the laptop is on. It happened a couple of days ago. The screen came on as usual and then all of a sudden it went black. I have rebooted it multiple time with ample interval, but bo changes in the condition. I have pressed the power button for more than 30-45 seconds and tried rebooting it but still nothing. Can someone please help?

If it's running Windows 10, it might be the Fast Startup feature at its finest. Can you get to the battery? I think it's non-removable, but you should be able to access it/disconnect it if you can remove the bottom panel of the laptop. From there, press and hold the power button for 5 - 10 seconds, then reconnect things and try booting it again.

Worst case scenario is that the screen or mainboard needs repaired or replaced.
