well, it is just a protocol, so potentially that port could be configurable , is it configurable in the BIOS? now you have me wondering... lol

well you can always plug it in and see....

the page for it's specs says this

"Hard Drives:
1TB 5400RPM SATA HDD
1TB 7200RPM SATA HDD
1TB 5400RPM SSH-8GB

128GB/256GB/512GB SATA3 M.2 SSD"

so, it supports M.2 SSD SATA3 so no, it won't work

Inside the user manual it states "The M.2 2280 slot supports both PCle (NVMe) SSD and SATA SSD" that's why all the confusion
