Hello everyone.

I have a HP Elitebook laptop that will not turn on. The led charging light does light up though. I have tired the hard reset trick (removing battery, holding power button for 30seconds etc.). The hard reset does seem to do something because the keyboard lights up for a seconds after doing it but it does not turn on. Any solutions would be great.

Thanks.

There isn't much you can do with a laptop. You can try replacing CMOS battery and resitting memory modules, but other then that you need to consult profession repairs service. It can be many things from power, memory, bios failure to south/north bridge failure, which you can't fix on your own.
