I have an Acer Aspire TimelineX 5820t (SNID 02800557325) It has an i3-350m cpu in it right now. I asked Acer if i could upgrade the cpu to i5 or i7 without having to change the motherboard. They told me i could, but did not give me any other information about which cpu's i could use. Please can someone advise me. I would like to put an i7-640m. Is it worth the effort. I can buy a second hand one for about £40 or $50 My laptop/notebook is getting a little slow and i do not have the money right now to replace it. Thank you so much in advance
