I've got the ip 198.105.254 which I fear is one of my local computers which is infected and spamming our computers can I do something to the spammer or disinfect my email... it's coming from a not on network ip...Hi, I've clicked the link i n the email which only led to more emails from a fake honors society ad also getting the stupid viagra scams which I can't fix so I pinged the MX on the email invitations@honorsociety.com AND i also get one with garbled letters that says aprimo@contas or contact or something. It's basically virus loaded newsletters...I just don't know how to fix

It is never advisable to click on any links from or respond to spam emails, by the way....

If you have an actual address the email is coming from externally, you might try blocking that address in your router's firewall....; alternatively, if actual emails, designate them as spam, and try to block them with whatever service is providing your email....

If your browser itself might now be infected, a pass with Hitman Pro and/or Malwarebytes Antimalware is advised.....

Please provide more information.

198.105.254 is not an IP address per se. You may have mis-typed the IP address.

And you need to provide more information about what is or has been happening.

Error messages? Pop-up windows?

What makes you think there is an infection or spamming?

Also - moving your post to Antivirus / Security /Privacy category.
