I have a RTS7010B soundbar and was wondering if i can connect more speakers to it as a surround sound speaker and subwoofer? I know they say not to connect different brands together but im willing to try. I know Best Buy sells universal rear speakers..

Welcome to Tom's!
According to the manual:

The only way to add additional speakers is via blutooth pairing. Instructions for that will be with whatever blutooth speakers you use. As far as getting true surround sound from this type of setup is questionable at best. It might just be a repeat of the signals going to the main speakers.

So I might as well just buy another surround sound system?

If you want a true surround sound system, I don't see any other alternative. Sorry
The soundbar doesn't have any discrete audio output connections.
