it does not start

Solution
Remove the battery, try it on wall power only. Does it not power on at all or does it try to start with lights/beep codes/screen but never loads Windows? If it's totally dead, you can try removing the battery, open the system, remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard if there is one, hold in the power button for about 30 seconds. Then plug in wall power only, with batteries still out, and see if it turns on. If it does, plug everything back and try it again.
