I have a system of four speakers installed into my walls. I recently had the room constructed, so I wired in everything myself. However, the output of the four speakers is four black wires. How do I connect these wires to my television?

Solution
You can't connect in wall speakers directly to a TV. You will need an audio video receiver. You will also need to identify the plus and minus terminals of each speaker so you can connect them properly. Speaker wire will be marked so you can do that. Hope you connected each speaker the same way.
You can test each speaker wire to ID the plus and minus by using a AA or AAA battery. You connect one conductor of the wire to the minus battery terminal and touch the other conductor quickly to the plus terminal. If the woofer moves forward then the wire you touched to the battery plus is the plus wire. If it moved backwards the plus wire is the other one. Mark the wire and do each speaker like that.

Most home theater systems will have three front speakers, two rears or side speakers, and a self powered subwoofer. You can set up the AVR for a 4.0 and add the center and sub later.
