ok so I'm retyping all this cuz I some exit the browser LOL
SO I bought this new DVR which doesn't have a brand name nor a product name
the cameras r connected to it and it sees em and records and things are cool
But I'm having problems with the Dvr network Setting
As I said I cannot access the DVR from outside network like my phone or laptop with another network besides my home network
DVR's ip address is set to 192.168.1.100 and the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 and Default getaway is 192.168.1.1 which is correct
there r four ports in the network tab in dvr named TCP,HTTP,UDP,Talk and they r set to 3357,88,3356,3360 in the same order
they r 2 dns server box One is Preffered which is 8.8.8.8 and another one is Alternative which is 8.8.4.4
ok so I accessed it via IE with typing 192.168.1.100 in address bar (in the same network of course) and I wrote the username and pass and everything was alright
How ever when I try to access it via outside network I cannot I type in the external ip address (which is the outside ip address of all the devices in the network)
I have also Forwarded the ports (I don't know if I did it right or wrong) I added A PORT start/end 88 and set to tcp mode also the device ip is set to 192.168.1.100 I did the same with the tcp port (3357) and UDP port (3356) ichoose udp mode for the udp port also all the device ip are set to 192.168.1.100
However there is this other box named Server IP address(domain name) and idk what to fill this blank so I tried 192.168.1.100 it didn't work then I tried my external ip address and it didn't work too
BTW I don't have an static ip address and I use no-ip dns servers to detect my ip address (also tried googling what is my ip address and same results
I tried this port test websites and they all said my selected ports are closed (in both cases) in both cases
Also my DVR has some other Advanced options in the network path name NAt Traversal: www.dvrnat.com I tried the website and it requies a nat id which I don't have have and idk what it is,(but it has the same login page as in IE when accesing via the same network)
also it has a DDNS option that has no ip servers and I have added my no ip username and password and other things and I don't know what it does
I have tried every thing I know and yet still no success and I have to travel tomorrow and I need to fix it by tomorrow so any fast answers would be really nice

Solution
If the HTTP port is really set to 88 as you list above, then to access the DVR remotely, you would use your publicIP:88 So you want to forward port 88 on your router to 192.168.1.100.

Just saying
So i reset the dvr
gave it an static ip address and 88 as http port
also 3357for tcp
then i portforwarded theseports in my router in portforwarding section (it had a server ip and i filled itwith my dvr's ip which is 192.168.1.100 and it also had a remote ip which i left blank
then i added a Dynamic dns server to my pc from No-IP and it was free (i just had to download an app from their website)
And its all working now so i can access it via another network by typing the Domain name i made earlier with no-ip And :88 so it will be like Anydomainnam:88
so its all working now expect i cant not connect to it using dvr apps in my phone (im trying to fix it currently)
