This is weird. My download speed is limited to 3mbps in download but 20mpbs upload in wired connection through ethernet. But when I connect through wireless my download and upload speed is 20mbps. I want to connect through wired because of gaming, it has lower ping than wireless. Please help.

bad wire maybe? or a configuration that is messed up on the router? OR something like the driver messed up on your computer.. IF possible other then trying a different cable try a different computer.. and update your nic card drivers.. that may fix the issue.

if you have an older router make sure the firmware is updated. in the router setting there are setting for how much badwith each user gets see what that set for. if there no change plug the modem into the pc see if you get the right speed. if not run malware byte scan. on some programs like nvidia and amd they can act like malware. use msconfig turn off everything in startup see if anything changes.
