Games Crashing/Freezing - PLEASE HELP, CAN'T FIND ANY FIX

Hello,


I have been having a problem with my laptop for about 2 months now. The majority of my games seem to have problems freezing and/or crashing. There are no issues visible and nothing to support the reason the games are crashing. I get great FPS on my laptop with no issues with lag/stuttering/etc. I have tried so many thing to try to bring my computer back to how it used to be.

I have tried:
1. Updating all my drivers
2. Doing clean installations of new/old video drivers
3. Updating the BIOS
4. Doing Dell Support Assist diagnostics and diagnostics available on the boot screen.
5. Opening up my laptop to clean out the fans and look for issues
6. Looking ALL over the internet and youtube for fixes


I am just out of ideas for how to fix my issue so I have come to make a post here. My computer has been very reliable with few issues that were easily fixed. I couldn't imagine that it is time to buy a new computer...

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M

Solution
Could just be failing hardware, usually the video card goes bad. You can try a full system restore to factory defaults to rule out any issues with software.
