My lg smart TV has no picture or sound. The light comes on showing the TV is powered on and the screen has a blue color to it. I'm unable to use the remote to pull up the menu to change source.

Try unplugging all the cables connected except the power cable. On the TV itself, there is a button for menu, check if it's still responding. Once you plugged in all cables connected, try to change source from the TV buttons.
