replacing satellite TV and cutting the cord

Yes....although I would use a signal booster.
I live way out in the boonies...I have 3 TVs hooked up to one outdoor antenna....and it worked pretty well without a signal booster....I got maybe a dozen channels.....but i picked up maybe a dozen more with the booster.
The booster goes near the antenna....then you spllt AFTER the booster.

The booster mentioned above will increase the signal strength from the antenna. You may also want a distribution amp which will compensate for losses due to splitting the 75ohm lead from the antenna and the wire itself.
