I have a 64 gb sd card in my canon. it has been wiped clean through the camera. computer says it is empty but it only has 10 gb available

Solution
You could try formatting the card using a computer and then formatting the card in the camera again. If that does not help then I would check the card in disk management. The command to get to disk management is diskmgmt.msc
By wiped clean do you mean it was formatted in the camera?
Is this a new card? If yes, where did you purchase the card?
Have you tried checking the card in a computer? In a computer you could look at it under disk management and see what details it gives on the card

It is not a new card I have had it for about 6 months. I use it in my Canon 80D. I recently went to Europe and while there notice that I didn't have much space left on my card for pictures. When I came back I popped my SD card into my computer downloaded all of my pictures to my external hard Drive. I then put the SD card back in the camera and deleted all. The camera told me there was only 10GB of space left. That was the same amount that I had before deleting the pictures. I then placed the SD card into in both my Apple computer and my Dell computer and both told me there was only 10GB left. They also show no photos. There are no locked files and no hidden files
