I have a vizio d43-d2 tv. It has 3 hdmi ports. I can not see any of them labelled as ARC, but when going thru the menu items on the tv there are 3 selections for cc: enable, disable, cec Arc only. SO I am wondering about ARC. If it does have arc, which of the 3 hdmi ports is the right one. If it does not , why does the menu reference cec arc?.

Solution
The owners manual mentions that it does have HDMI-ARC but since it doesn't have a marked ARC input I would try using HDMI 1 first. CEC is usually independent from ARC.
CEC allows for devices that are connected to the HDMI inputs to control the TV and vice versa. It doesn't always work as expected so it needs to be turned on and off manually. Having the option of only using it for the HDMI-ARC connection is a good idea since it can give you use of ARC for a soundbar or receiver when other devices don't using CEC correctly.

I went back an looked again. I missed it. it is on hdmi 1 in the back of the tv. The part that says ARC is in very small letters and I just did not see it. Sorry.
Thanks
