ram for hp g7

i have hp g7 amd a8 4500m app with radeon hd graphics 1.90ghz, 6 gb ram installed, 64 bit. i have latest windows 10 update installed. computer runs very slow. ca i add any more RAM to it, or anything else to help performance?
