5.1 audio from usb

A file is a file, whether it stored audio, stereo, surround, video, photos etc. It is up to your TV to properly decode and play surround files. Check your TV' documentation about supported file types.
On the other hand - 5.1 audio need (at least) six speakers, and I am not aware of any TV with that many speakers.
