Hi I have a Lenovo y700 laptop "built for gaming" which I purchased about a year ago, the specs are as follows:

Found AMD Radeon R9 M275X
Found Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz

I googled others using the same laptop playing fornite at well over 100 fps on medium settings. Hoever when I try to play Im getting 20 fps constant and maybe 15 fps in fights. I cannot figure out why. My GPU is also hitting 95-100% when playing the game. Is it possible im overheating?

any help would be appreciated

Solution
It could be that your laptop is using the Integrated GPU (probably IntelHD) instead of your AMD dedicated card. You can change that from AMD catalyst control panel. Additionally also disable Xbox Game DVR and Gaming Settings in Windows Settings and Enable maximum performance instead of Battery saver...

Thanks for the reply, I've made sure that it uses the AMD card as well as enabling maximum performance, I'm going to try and disable the Xbox game DVR and i'll see if it improves
