Solved! HP won't boot

I've had this HP Envy laptop for a while now and have never had any issue with it until now. Right around the release of Win 10 1803 windows didn't want to load. I've ran what system checks I could and everything came back fine. I took out the hard drive and put it in my desktop and checked the integrity of the drive itself and it works fine. I then rebooted the computer and booted from the laptop drive and windows booted right up and everything worked just fine. I put the hard drive back in the laptop and it still gets stuck on the windows load screen.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

check RAM
boot with windows 10 installation media and try to repair windows inside the laptop.

Sorry it took so long to respond. I checked the ram and it's fine. Everytime i would turn the laptop on, it would go straight into hp's diagnostic stuff. Also, since the drive would boot in my desktop, i didnt think about the repair disk. However, i put the disk in and it finally did boot into windows although it did run insanely slow, even for a mechanical drive, but at least it booted. Thanks.

check the drive with its manufacturer´s tool, might be faulty
