New Laptop Lagging

I just bought new MSI Laptop with intel i7 7th gen with gtx1050 with 4gb ram. I'm not contented with the performance of my laptop right now because of the lag, for example. It take a lot of time opening an application, for example chrome, switching/closing tabs, file manager and switching to other light processing application. Is there any tips to remove this problem?

Which MSI model is it?

Is a SSD installed? All updates for Windows 10 done?

Check temperatures and RAM, also have a look at the event viewer of windows for errors

IT'S MSI GV62 7RD (4GB). SSD IS NOT INSTALLED JUST HHD, AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO CHECK THE UPDATES YET

Would get a M.2 SSD, SATA or PCIe NVME is possible with this laptop.
Install windows and apps on it. Use the HDD only for files you don´t use daily.

If you really only have 4GB RAM, you could upgrade to at least 8GB. Or did you only mention the video RAM the graphics chip has?
Which exact model do you have? There are more than one MSI GV62 7RD out there, should be 6 digits more, like MSI GV62 7RD-1626DE (0016J9-1626)

For the MSI GV62 7RD-2640PH laptop model:

The best thing for now would be installing a SSD, a M.2 SATA SSD module will suffice

RAM
4GB DDR4 2400 RAM is installed already, you have two options:
keep the one 4GB and buy an equal 4GB RAM. For this you should check the exact model by e.g. CPU-Z

second:
Try to sell the one 4GB and get a 2 x 8GB DDR4 2400 kit

After updating the windows and drivers, the problem still occurs

. Maybe upgrading ram or installing the said SSD will be the solution?
