Looking for a for a way to play my blueray device

I Went to my friend's house and I saw him playing audio CD from his blue ray device and watching something on the same TV set but mine is not doing that function. Pls how can I set my blueray device to play audio and at the same time watch something else on the same TV set

If you tv does not have an available setting for multiple audio source simultaneous playback, where it does not automatically switch off secondary audio sources when the default "device" is in use, in your case, the tv itself, then it's doubtful you can do it. Most newer televisions can do this. It is not a function of the blu ray device. It's a function of the tv.
