I remember having this issue on my HP laptop. I think I fixed it through mouse settings.
Settings-Mouse/Touchpas-Advanced settings- something like wait time
It may also be in keyboard settings
It’s called a delay, it’s more for an office type background. It’s so that if the mouse moves while you are typing, it doesn’t affect your typing or vice versa. Took some remembering to remember this one.
