hey guys,

my headphones are sound cancelling but i wanna hear my tunes while i play dota, pubg, diablo, etc.

anyway yall know of that I can set spotify to only play thru the right earphone, and gameplay thru the left earphone?

im down to tinker around if anyone has suggestions of where i might start...i thought here would be a good place to start.

thanks:)

Double checked again for balance L&R for each channel, this model doesn't discrete but could adjust fade and mains volumes to work out what you like. It's old like i said and equipment would have improved and be many models out there that'll probably do exactly what you want as in a DJ.

It's actually a good idea, not sure of audio software can manipulate balance for individual applications. Shame the volume controller in system tray only handles volume.

If can't find software that can do such a thing maybe force window's audio balance to one side and put an ear bud headphone inside the cup headphone in your other ear and play from another source like phone or tablet.

while i was reading your post i started wondering if theres any audio hardware like a kvm switch that could somehow split it. im sure there is a way lol... software could be the best though.

Yeah you're right. An audio mixer that'll feed multiple inputs to one output. I have one i used to play audio from 3 PC's to a surround system playing games in the lounge, was intense.

Audio mixer is what you want with the range of knobs to control everything.

Haven't used it in awhile just had a look at the model to give you an idea. Numark m4, about 4 years old. There'd be mixers to cater just a couple im sure, this one did three.
