Laptop Not Powering On (Mother board or DC jack?)

Hello,

I have an Alienware 13 R3 laptop, which i was GPU overclocking with an undervolted CPU.
The laptop powered off on me as I was playing a game and will not turn back on.

The power supply adapter light is on when I plug it into the wall but turns off when I plug it to my laptop and I smell a burnt smell from the dc jack.

I tried power draining by holding the power button when unplugged and re plug but nothing happens.I tried turning on the laptop with only battery inside unplugged and without battery with power cable plugged in but does not work. I believe I was able to narrow it down to these 2 things:

1.) Motherboard might need to be replaced
2.) DC jack needs to be replaced

I've been looking for solutions nonstop and would like to know if you guys have any better ideas of what could have possibly happened. Any recommendations of where I can buy replacement parts online from would be appreciated as well!

Thank you for your time!

Your laptop is most likely in an "unstable state" due to overclocking.

Try booting your laptop into the BIOS and turning off all overclocking settings.
If you can't power on your laptop at all, make sure your current battery has power in it. If this doesn't work, try replacing the battery. It may be a power issue with the battery.
If nothing continues to work, take it to a someone who can inspect your laptop and determine the problem.

Make sure to be more cautious when overclocking next time!

Hope this helped!
