My ACER laptop (model here https://imgur.com/a/uPoPkTi) had a blue screen yesterday. When I turned it on, there was a blue screen with some horizontal bars like the display was failing. I couldn't read what the blue screen said.

I restarted the laptop but didn't work. It starts (keyboard lights up) but nothing on the screen. At first I thought it was the display so I connected it to a monitor via HDMI but nothing.

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot!

PS: When I first bought it, I replaced its original 4GB RAM stick with 2x4GB I bought on Amazon. It's been working great since that.

Try to disconnect your laptop´s battery and unplug it from the wall socket then keep pressing th power on button for around 20 sec more or less then plug in the battery and plug the laptop onto the wall socket, tell me the results after that

Battery is not "removable". Should I disassemble the cover, unplug it and do what you told me?

Thanks a lot :)

Ok now when I turn it on, keyboard flashes every few seconds, but nothing on the screen.
