How to hookup a Magnavox DVD to a converter box.have the plugs with 3 on each end that are red, yellow , white.The converter box is connected right to color..DVD box has colors on top row of right to left red ..green..blue.. Bottom row is..black ..red ..yellow..red..but (no white)...

It would be helpful if you gave the make and model number of the DVD player and converter box. So, we could look them up and tell you what to plug in. Also what TV you are trying to plug into for other options.

Also are you trying to convert to HDMI? I don't know how much you spent on the converter. You can get a Blu Ray player for around $30 and return the converter. It"ll connect directly to HDMI, play your DVDs and provide a cleaner picture. Plus you can start buying Blu Ray discs in the future.
