How do I connect my Nintendo Wii game system which has the normal av in red, yellow,& white cords to connect to my Samsung smart TV model un55mu6500?
I did buy and received already a mini HDMI to av converter....
The TV isn't picking up the Wii or connection.
Help please thanks

As Dave8671 says you don't need an adapter. Check the manual on how to connect he Wii and set the input to composite video.
By the way an HDMI to AV adapter only works one way, You would need an AV to HDMI adapter. Both would have to be active devices not a passive cable.

New TVs now incorporate the composite video the [white, red, yellow ] connections into the component connections inputs which have read blue green. Look at the back of the TV

To find the composite video which is what you want look for a yellow input and than the red and white. The red and white are what you want is for sound.

Most TVs will have 3 ports for Composite cables. Yellow is for Video And Red/White are for sound. Match up the coloured holes with the colours wires. If your tv does not have composite cables, you could try buying an adapter or different types of cabling from Nintendo
