I want to add a couple of subwoofers to my home system, it is an LG Blu-ray 3 D player it is 3 ohms at 1500 watts. Want to use car subs, just don't have any idea what ones to use?

You won't be able to just replace the passive woofer that came with the LG with 2 car woofers. It's not likely to have enough power to drive them. The specs on HTS systems are pretty much advertising fantasy. You would need to use a speaker to line level converter and a power amp to drive the car subs.
