Asus Chromebox Really Slow

I have a 60MB internet service and a Comcast gigabit ethernet directly connected to my Chromebox M004U. I try to watch Xfinity live TV and the performance is horrible. The video lags audio badly and it frequently just stops for several seconds. When I connect the same ethernet cable to my old Mac mini, I get fantastic Xfinity service on much higher resolution even while I am busy running other processes. ed g

So, I guess I can't use the Chrome Box for Xfinity, Youtube, Netflix, etc. A Chromebox is not good if you want to use video. I think that's really bad and would never buy another.

Maybe you should consider upgrading your rams, check the spec's if you have room to upgrade try this first. Although I think the max you can go is 4 GB, but check spec's limits to make sure. I was experiencing slow speeds and slow performance and I upgraded and now I can have multiple tabs open and it doesn't slow down or clash. Good Luck...
