I'm looking for a low budget laptop that can run the Sims 4. Its a gift for my wife and will be the only game she will play on it so don't want to go too crazy. Around £300 would be great, thanks.

Integrated Intel graphics can cope with Sims 4. However 300 pounds for a new laptop is quite a challenge! How about the Acer TravelMate P2510 series ? On the continent they are sold for 380 euros with 7th generation i5 processors and 4GB memory.
Another option would be the Lenovo V110 series with 6th generation i3 processor and SSD.
Or this nice laptop also from Acer

Thanks for your advice. It doesnt have to be anything fancy minimum requirements would do as i know that would not bother her. I would even consider a desktop or refurbished laptop I just don't know enough about PC Gaming to make a decision and would rather not throw the money away on something that will not work.

If you do not want anything fancy and prefer sparing the fuss looking around for alternatives, go with that Acer Apsire. That is the laptop with the amazon link, will work fine and has Windows on it.
