I'm having a asus X555LA laptop and since 3days ago it showed 7% battery and tried to shutdown although the laptop was plugged in. Since then everytime I start the laptop it reduced the time of working and came upto boot screen. I tried removing the battery as most laptops works fine without battery as well. But this doesn't seems to do so. I checked the charger with a multimeter and it works fine and also did a hard reset. Laptop doesn't do anything with only battery or only AC. But when both battery and the AC Power is plugged it starts and switch off.(Time keeps reducing as it seems baterry is draining without charging).
I would like a solution and also to know whether there any X555LA user who can run the laptop without battery in order to troubleshoot?
