So, today i just got my new asus ux430un and it runs perfectly! However when i do almost any screen activity such as scroll up or down, move mouse, switch chrome tabs etc. basicly anything that makes the computer do something then this noise goes off. When i hold a key in it keeps doing the sound till i let go. The sound doesnt really appear to be from the speakers but more from the power input area. Especially when i boot its extremely loud cos of all the activity. I noticed when i loaded Bios no sound or anything was going off, not even when changing from advanced to ez mode. I dont know if this is normal as i havnt owned a laptop in like 6 years so some advice would be great. I already texted Asus support with somewhat the same description of the problem and awaiting answer. Thought id try my luck here aswell. Should i return it n have them check it out or am i being paranoid? i cant really remember the very first time i turned it on but i believe it did not make any sound. I will try to do a safe boot and see if theres any results and then make an edit.
the sound is like static interference with white noise, its kind of hard to explain. Doesnt sound like any capacitors which makes a high pithced noise so its not that. Also its an ssd so cant be the hdd. My best bet would be the i7-8550u cpu or the PSU being the guilty culprit. Im not a hardware expert which is why im making this thread.
