Lg tv without optical illusion or HDMI ARC in the back of tv. Is there another way of connecting it to my tv
How to connect my new lg sound bar to my lg tv that doesn't have optical illusion or HDMI ARC

If the TV has some kind of audio output (coax digital, analog or headphone) you can convert that to optical audio. What converter you use depends on what output you have.
You can connect the soundbar to external sources directly. An HDMI input selector with audio output might be useful for that.
Last option would be to connect a speaker to line level converter to the wires inside the TV that go to the internal speakers. That would give you an analog line level output that could be used. If you got a soundbar with an aux input that wouldn't require a converter if you had analog audio out available.
