I have a Sony Bravia TV with 2 USB ports and only 1 HDMI port. When i connected chromecast to one of the HDMI ports of my Onkyo Home theatre the chromecast dint work. So I directly connected the chromecast to the HDMI port on the TV removing the already connected HDMI cable of the Home theatre, the chromecast actually worked from my laptop but only video is displaying and NO audio. I don't know how I can fix it. I need help.

Without model numbers you won't get a precise answer.
If your HTS doesn't have a disc player built in you can connect it to the TV audio output. Digital would be better than analog.
If your HTS does have a disc player you will need to get an HDMI input selector to expand the number of HDMI inputs. You may also have to add the additional TV audio output to get sound from the chromecast through the TV into the HTS. It depends on whether the TV and HTS support ARC. Check the TV and HTS manuals for details.

Not sure how i can reply to the above answer.
I have a Sony Bravia model KDL-42W700B and HTS model Onkyo AV Receiver HT-R391 and it does not have a disc player.
And I am not quite sure of where and what I should connect to the TV audio OUT. Can you please give me a precise answer? I don't have much idea about the HTS.
