To connect the digital audio output to the analog input of your Pioneer you need a digital to analog converter.

Check the TV audio menu to make sure you can set the output to PCM stereo. If not you need to get a DAC that accepts a 5.1 bitstream input

You will also need a digital audio cable (either optical or coax depending on the TV ) and an RCA stereo cable.
You may have to turn the digital out on and the TV speakers off in the TV audio menu.
