Guys, I'm a photographer. I am currently using ACER R7-572G with core i5 (4th gen), 16GB, 1TB HDD, Nvidia 750 2GB graphics. I'm planning to buy a new laptop. I have done lots of research, but always find one or two of my requirements are missing. So i need your help. Please recommend me some options based on my requirements below. It will be a great help.
1. What is your budget?
- Recommend me a below 1000 n above 1000 USD option, but cannot cross 1800 USD.
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
- 13.3 or 14 inch of new form factor with thin bezels
3. What screen resolution do you want?
- I'm happy with 1080p but must fulfill 100% or near 100% sRGB colour gamet. Screen is very important for me being a content creator.
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
- Laptop is my main n only device. But i need to travel quite often. So must be light weight.
5. How much battery life do you need?
- Higher is better but this is not the most important criteria for me.
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
- Don't play games quite often. Sometimes NFS.
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
- Yes, photo editing. Lots of.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
- As much as possible. More than one slot will be preferable, like LG Gram 2018.
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
- Nope
10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
- I don't upgrade quite often.
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
- No need
12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
- Any reliable brand, preferably HP, Dell, Asus etc.
13. Please tell us any additional information if needed.
- Must have latest processors. RAM should be at least 16GB & upgradibility to higher will be preferable. Must have good sound quality. Should have a SD card slot (not micro SD). Must have USB C charging capability. Any dedicated graphics card option will be preferable.
