Like others, I can connect the Bose system to the DVD box and get sound but because Netflix etc goes directly to the TV, I only get TV sound with these screenings. The Cinemate only comes with 2 audio inputs and has no optical or other connection and the TV does not appear to have any dual audio outputs. Help anyone?

Solution
If the TV has a headphone jack you can use that. Some Sonys can set the headphone out as variable line level out which would be perfect.
If not then you will need an optical to analog audio converter. Check the TV manual on how to configure the output. You may have to turn it on, turn the TV speakers off, and change the audio output type to PCM stereo. This is a fixed output so you adjust the volume at the speakers not the TV remote.
