I can only hear sound play on the right side and not the left. and I didn't have these for long they just suddenly stop working, any reasons or solutions to help?

If they are cheap, expect just bare copper/aluminium wires in there, there is nothing to support them when you pull them.
Buy new ones with good brand. (panasonic, sony which i used them over 4 years)
I know that earbuds (over my life) which have L connector shape are more sturdy (from my experience, but i might be wrong).
