Recently after screwing up my pc i have bean useing my crap laptop. I have done as many performances tweeks you can do on the softwhere side and i am happy and bean playing games about a 20-30 fps average. But still the laptop is kinda unstabel with everything outside of games lagging behind and/or generaly being slow. Now recently i decided to plug in my monitor and kapooie the laggein behind and the slowness has gone away. Despite the monitor being a latger ressolution. The monifoe being 1080p and the laptops screen being slightly more than 720p. Ad them running at the same time. So i have one big question. Why did the laptops lagging behindand slowness get fixed

Ps i am not the best at English so feal free to correct my spelling

Pps and general laptop preformance tweeks you can do would be helpful (tweeks to the hardwhere and softwhere)

Solution
Sounds like the attached display is using one GPU and the external monitor is using another. If you set the attached display to the same one being used by the external one, then you should lose the problem. Also, it may be a sign that the one is going bad and in need of replacing.
