Keyboard not working

I have a Toshiba Ultrabook U945 S4110 and the fan was making a horrible noise, so I followed a youtube video to take it apart and clean the fan. When I reassembled and restarted, the fan problem was solved, but the keyboard does not work. I looked at "keyboard" in the control panel and it said it was connected and functioning properly, but there is still no response when trying to use the keyboard. I hooked up a USB keyboard and that worked great, as does the mouse, etc., except it does not show the wireless anymore. I'm thinking that as to do with the nonresponsiveness of the wireless button that is on the keyboard. I'm stumped and obviously, made a bad situation even worse. Any solutions out there? Thank you!

Solution
Well, you took it apart and it no longer works, so either something was broken on the cable or the motherboard connectors or it's simply not hooked up properly. Open it, re-seat the keyboard connections.

I'm in the process of that now. I was confused because it says in the control panel that it is working properly, but it's not. Leave it to me to muck up a bad situation by making it even worse. Thank you for answering.
