Quick question, I have laptop with an input of 20v and 3.25a, can I use a charger with an output of 19.5v and 3.21a to charge it? NB: the charger and laptop are different brands.

The voltage and current are close enough. The laptop will charge just a little slower. The more critical issue is if the power adapter will fit the laptop port AND the polarity matches the laptop, i.e. the positive and negative are not opposite from what the laptop requires.

It doesn't but I have a charger end that fits, could I cut it and connect it.
