USB headset works on everything but youtube Help

I was just on discord with my friend i muted myself for a second to check something up on youtube and i realised i wasnt hearing nothing i tried checking my volume restarting my laptop checking my default device etc. and it still wasnt working. Can someone please help me fix it ?

Well, it is completely possible that youtube is muted. Not all your sounds, just there. I would check the youtube settings first. Then test other videos. Is it all of them or just particular ones? Also check that the browser isn't muted, or even any plugins.

You can also try a different browser to see if it will work there.

Another option, should these not work, is to update your driver. Yes, it can effect just one or two things. Especially if there is an update you are in need of.

Browser muted in Windows volume mixer? Tab muted in browser?

If sound works everywhere else, the browser is just one more thing in the mix and should work fine. Pretty much guaranteed it is a mute somewhere that you either forgot about or didn't notice when you misclicked it.
