I recently received a manufacture refurbished HP Envy 13t Laptop. i7 8th gen cpu, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, MX 150 specs. Windows 10

Everything with the laptop seemed to run fine, it is snappy and Netflix ran great and all office programs.

However, recently I decided to try to download some games, but during the installation process for every game, the laptop will blue screen, give an error, and restart.

It also happened while I was running a windows defender scan.

It usually occurs about in the middle of installation. Happens for bnet games as well as fortnite

I’ve uploaded a pic of the error

The laptop is still under warranty, so I’m thinking of sending it in if it’s hardware related, but I’d rather try to debug it first.

I’ve tried doing a full reset, updated all drivers, etc. I haven’t tried a full fresh install however.

Any ideas? Let me know if you need any other information.

Solution
Since you're dealing with Windows 10, you may want to try a repair install and see if the issue is averted. On a side note, prior to the repair install, see if you have any BIOS updates pending.
