Dear friends,
will appreciate your advises over upgrading my laptop's Lcd.
I have a Toshiba Tecra Z50-A-183. which have HD LCD 1366x768, it is connected to the motherboard via LVDS 40pin (but I don't know if it is a 1ch or 2ch cable). The cable has the following code (GDM900002784)... the current lcd is LTN156AT30 40pin. and of course the graphic is Intel® HD Graphics 4400.
Any advises what kind of FullHD lcd to upgrade to? and how could I recognise if the cable can support a FHD display? i.e is my cable a 1ch or 2ch.

Thanks for support.

Dell had a number of their display's on their laptop come with 1920x1080 displays but they were sold in limited editions. If you can find that the same laptop or series of laptop from Toshiba had 1920x1080 panels retrofitted to them, you could source it from Aliexpress or Ebay.

From this search, it looks like access to Full HD is limited to use of a 30pin connector.

I agree, but I tried before and I couldn't find same serious as mine with 40pin and FHD specs. these are the ones I am focusing on for now:

1- Innolux N156HGE-LB1
2- AUO B156HAN01.0
3- LP156WF4-SLB2
4- LP156WF4-SLB3
5- LP156WF4-SLB4
6- LP156WF4-SLB5
7- LP156WF4-SLB6
8- LP156WF4-SLB7

but I don't know if the lcd cable I have is 2-ch 6bit or 1ch
