Last time that this happened to me, it was a problem with the Windows Update service and simply disabling it had solved the problem for me.

However, you mentioned that for you, this started as soon as you installed the hack. Too much of a coincidence I would say. My recommendation would be to try out MalwareFox. It's a rebrand of Zemana and it detects things that Malwarebytes and other security programs often miss.

If it also doesn't detect anything, then try uninstalling whatever you installed for a bit and see what happens. My best guess is that someone uses your hardware for mining which is why you experience slow downs. Mining software is usually not detected as malware.

If you can't remove whatever you installed, then your best course of action is to backup whatever important files you got and make a full drive format.

Download http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/hitman_pro.html
And run it, it will definitly kill virus, but if it still happens, try to system restore. As for svchost its common problem for W7... And i hate it.

If Hitman didnt do it, go to start , right click on computer and properties, then after window pop up, on upper left is advanced system properties, another winow should pop up go to system protection, and system restore,
Just look up for earliest system restore you can find when virus wasnt installed, otherwise the other softwares that you have installed might not work (as registry files are missing).

It shouldnt take more than 15min.
