How do I record streaming DirecTVNow

I want to cut the cord and subscribe to Streaming DirecTV NOW, a new service. It is $35 per month. My problem is that I want to be able to record the shows for later viewing. I would be happy to use a physical box, or software. I have seen some software implementations, but they look very klutzy or complicated. DW has to use this too. I have a 2T external HD which I could use. Also I want to be able to view the recordings via Wi-Fi throughout my house on a roku or similar device.
Thanks.

They will make it really hard if not impossible to record.
The HDMI out of a Roku will be HDCP compliant so can't be recorded. If you get a Roku Express+ that will have AV out that could be recorded but not in HD.
You might be able to use a screen recorder with Chrome or Safari. They don't mention supporting Firefox so maybe they are avoiding the video download addons that firefox has.
The easiest way is to subscribe to a streaming service that has DVR functionality built in. This website has reviews that may be of help
