Hello my phones screen is draining the battery 64%

I thought it maybe I just need a new battery so I bought an "Extreme cell" heavy duty battery which costs double the price of the original battery. Ive had many original batteries but wasnt exactly amazing performance so thats why I give this a go.

My battery is still been eaten alive so I thought right ill reset the phone so nothing is on it, battery said screen was using 14% great ive fixed it so started updating gmail Samsung google news stand google music etc all standard apps that I cant remove most of it I dont use anyways and now battery stats say screen is using 64% again.

All my display settings are set to minimum so brightness on low screen light on 15 seconds which is the lowest it will go I dont have smart screen active theres nothing installed on the phone except standard apps that come with the phone they all updated why is my phone screen using all that battery? How do I reduce it?

More like a fact than an issue.

The screen is often the biggest consumer of your battery. There are exceptions that could be caused by issues.
You should be asking yourself, not what is consuming the most battery but how long is a charge lasting?
If one charge lasts from morning to night then you're doing well by today's battery standards.
If one charge only lasted an hour on a new battery then I would say that your phone is having some issues.

4 hours and its dead seems like my phone always needs charging. The last battery was original and it got pregnant apparently thats due to stressing out the battery I dont want that happening to my new battery
