No sound on laptop

I have a Asus GL503VD and when I go to play games I have no sound at all, sometimes i'll have sound but i'll get these loud noises that sound like the audio is messed up and it will cut off, the sound works fine with YouTube.

I've tried everything from device manager and so on

If it works fine when doing everything else, then I would wonder if there is a problem with the game(s) you are trying to play. Check their settings first. If they are on your computer.

If, however, you are playing them connected to the internet, then you may need to check your connection. Any connection issues can show up in sound problems. Even if other sites play fine. Games use more resources.
