Which laptop to buy?

Which one should I get HP pavilion 15 cc130tx (59000 INR) or Lenovo IdeaPad 520 81bf00avin (62500 INR)? (main use is coding (not graphic related) n casual gaming, also which will provide a better battery life as battery life concerns me a lot) A LINK OF SIDE BY SIDE COMPARISON OF THE TWO IS PROVIDED.

Both are somewhat similar in terms of spec but main difference is the GPU. Lenovo has MX150 which is pascal based and it is more efficient than a 940MX is maxwell based and older. Power consumption was MX150 is slightly higher compared to 940MX but 150 is faster. Again their is no clear spec for display type of HP but lenovo has IPS display it will be better in terms of colour (Lenovo).
One important thing is 2cell battery compared to 3 cell in hp but I think it is due to overall efficient design of Lenovo. If you want better battery life, I would suggest to buy lenovo and replace the stock 2tb hdd with any cheap ssd and use this 2tb hdd as a external drive with a added case...

As per your software needs few of those, works with GPU acceleration. Therefore a better GPU will help you out a bit. It is not necessary to have a discrete GPU for gaming only. Now the RAM, 2133 vs 2400 in 8th gen entry level i5 will not cause any noticeable performance difference. It will be reflected in benchmarks only. So chill out.
The reason I am more interested with Lenovo as it is more future proof compared to HP and you may upgrade to an ssd later. Don't buy any outdated device if you can afford a better one. It does not seems to have considerable battery life issue in Lenovo. However if possible try to collect the battery life info directly by mailing sales team for lenovo and HP.
